Arduino Mega
I am new to the Aruduino scene and Makerbot. I was wondering if it is worth it to solder up my Reprap v1.2 pcb or wait until they release the Mega gen 4 electronics. The bot I am building is almost 90% scratch built. The body is done. I am going to be using a hybrid v1.2 stepper controller pcb. Only cause at work I get L298s free as recovered parts from a non-reworkable pcb. Also I have built this kind of stepper controller before. Second question is I am trying to do this on the cheap and was wondering if the cheap $30 Mega boards on eBay are an option. I kinda already figure I know the answer is you get what you pay for, but I might be wrong. Not like that has not happened before.
