Hi everyone,
I have built my makerbot and theplastruder and wanted to test it according to the page.
I have installed ReplicatorG 0017,Python and Blender.
However, I´m only getting error messages when I connect it to my laptop.
Steps I take:
Turn on power, turn on motherboard, plug in USB, start ReplicatorG.
I have chosen Cupcake CNC as driver and Com as port (It´s the only one anyway)
Then I get the following messages from ReplikatorG
[19:10:05] Loading machine: Cupcake CNC
[19:10:05] Loading simulator.
[19:10:05] Loading driver: replicatorg.drivers.gen3.Sanguino3GDriver
[19:10:06] Packet response code: Generic Error
[19:10:06] Packet payload: 11 0
[19:10:06] Motherboard firmware v0.17
[19:10:06] latest 2.2 old 0.17
[19:10:06] Packet response code: Unknown code
[19:10:06] Packet payload: 0 0
[19:10:06] Extruder board: Null version reported! Make sure the extruder is connected and the power is on.
And yes, the extruder is connected with the cable that came with the bot. Three gren LEDs are lit on the extruder board (and one on the motherboard). Resetting the boards does nothing. I cannot upload new firmware or even get the control panel to open.
When I try to open the control panel, it immediatly closes again and I get the following
[19:20:43] Packet response code: Query overflow
[19:20:43] Packet payload: empty
[19:20:43] Packet response code: Unknown code
[19:20:43] Packet payload: 0 2
[19:20:43] Packet response code: Unknown code
[19:20:43] Packet payload: 0 2
[19:20:43] Packet response code: Unknown code
[19:20:43] Packet payload: 0 2
[19:20:44] Packet response code: Unknown code
to infiniti and beyond.
I´m running XP and the makerbot was a deluxe kit from batch 14.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you do help, use small words, as all this is entirely new to me.
