I put the relay board above the motherboard (I'd already mounted it with the MK4). For the extruder controller, I drilled the extruder mount, just above the arch) and placed it just like the MK4. Then I realized I had to move the extruder mount back an inch so it would clear the top of the case.
Seems to work ok so far… no builds yet… other problems.
As for temp, It fluctuated between 215 and 227 with the MK4 PID settings. When I changed to the settings clothbot mentioned, it now runs between 215 and 223.
The interesting thing is the MK4 settings gave me a nice sinewave temperature fluctuation, up to 227, down to 215, back to 227… But the MK5 settings are almost random, and yet the graph is much more consistant. Overall it still fluctuates from 219 +/- 4.
