Is the MAC version of ReplicatorG less buggy than the Windows version? I'm constantly getting windows behind other windows that I can't close forcing me to have to shutdown the application and restart it.

Also just a side note be very careful if using ReplicatorG on a laptop. After working for hours adjusting my settings in skeinforge. I was moving my mouse with the touch pad and happened to cross over the delete button and I guess I tapped the button. Well it deleted all of my work. Not are you sure window, or any backup of my info. :( /rant
Can't say that I have experienced this myself. I'm running RepG on win7 x64. The only issue I have which is really annoying is that sometimes when I go to edit a profile and make some changes, I hit save and close. This indeed saves the profile but the profile selection screen afterwards is unresponsive.
I then have to manually kill the process. I have tried giving admin permissions to everything under the sun to make his stop but nothing seems to help =/
@Riftwire… I am pretty certain there is no way to fix this issue, unfortunately.
I have noticed, that usually it happens when I mess with 'raft' plugin for the most part. Usually if I edit any of the other plugins, it won't lock up as often. But it ALWAYS will lock up if I mess with raft.
I recently had to use repg 24 under windows xp on an old pc after moving the makerbot to the shed for fume reasons, and can verify it locked up for me as well, after closing the skeinforge window as well, again, not always, but a few times.
I have no issues with windows or dialogs in ReplicatorG on the Mac. Also, no issues in printing from the Mac, not even with the temperature monitoring enabled. (Windows people sometimes report that the PC is borderline in sending data quickly enough to the bot, so printing from SD card works better than from the PC. The Mac has no issue printing through USB.)
Printing via SD card is always better quality, even on Mac. I didn't believe it until a visit to MakerBot, and in the last 6 months (with rare exception) I've only printed from SD.
Makes a big difference in quality on Gen3 setups.
Uh, you _can_ put ReplicatorG on a bootable linux distro. See run-repg-from-a-stick for details. I've run it on Ubuntu or Puppy Linux exclusively and had zero troubles with it.
