I couldn't find any documentation on the website and the MakerBot blog post says that you can set Z height universally so you don't have to specify in start.gcode, but they don't tell you how to do it.
From what I can tell, you use the new included profile which has a different start.gcode. Then you go into "Machine -> Motherboard Onboard Preferences" and you set it there under Z home offset.
But I am not certain what you put in there. Do you put the same Z max height number (for example, mine with an HBP on Thingomatic is 122.35) from your start.gcode into the the Z home offset field? Do you have to put it as a negative? Why is the number in there by default so very different from a normal Z max value?
I have the same questions for the X and Y axis. By default in start.gcode they were x -57 and Y -57. But here in motherboard preferences, they show as X: 0.0 and Y: 0.0. Which is again, drastically different.
I plan to do some investigating right now to figure this out. But I am sure more than a few people are gonna come in here and ask this same question. So I started this thread. If anyone has already gone through the motions of figuring this out, please post!
