ReplicatorG 0025 and Mendels

I am a makerbot cupcake user and I just recenly got a Mendel. I was playing with the brand new version of ReplicatorG 0025 and notice in the "machine" drop down -> "driver" drop down there is an option which says "RepRap 5D" Will this create usable gcode for a standard mendel with a geared stepper extruder?

Is it possible to print from Repg or use repsnapper. I will take anything!!!

I've been trying to use repsnapper and it's kind of a pain in a lot of unexpected ways. For example, some of the text that labels the buttons is too big for the button disappears behind another button. And then some of the buttons themselves are too big and disappear. Also the NEWER versions apparently lost the ability to save information…

..so I want to use RepG for my new Mendel same as I use it for my Makerbot, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

It seems like people are still fighting with this particular compatibility issue

Would this work with Gen6 electronics? I am in dire need of some kind of compatibility with repg and gen6 mendel electronics….!

Id say your best shot at finding this out is hoping someone that beta tested RepG25 had a similar setup. This is still too new and the general public has not had exposure to it.

It will probably take a few days/weeks for the reports to come in on what works and doesn't with the enchantments in RepG25.

Thats a really great point, by the way thanks soo much for your help and guidence on this!

With the above said in your last post, has this been figured out with earlier versions of Repg?

Ideally I would love any version of repg to control my mendel as striaghtforward as repg controls a cupcake. I guess this is what I should have asked earlier to be more clear ; Has anyone made a version of repg that can do this for Gen6 mendel electronics?
