Hoping someone can help me out here. I am trying to get my thingomatic up and running and hitting a wall when I try to connect through Replicator G. When I attempt to install the 2560 driver I downloaded with Replicator G, I get an error window that says Arduino Mega 2560 "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" I am installing via the Device Manager: Ports>Arduino Mega 2560>right click device name>update driver software>browse my computer>let me pick from a list of devices>have disk> browse>Arduino Mega 2560. Once installed, the Device Manager shows the Arduino Mega 2560 under the Ports heading shows the Mega 2560 with a yellow triangle and a warning sign. The COM port are also not showing up: machine>serial ports>no serial ports detected.
If I install the USB Serial Driver that Windows 7 wants me to install (generic USB Serial Port driver), I can connect to the Thingomatic and and move all of the axes including the extruder stepper and ABP DC motor. But I cannot connect to the extruder (obviously) and I get an error "Toolhead 0: Not Found…."
I've installed and uninstalled drivers, restated numerous times, checked my electronic connections. Where do I go from here?
