It seems we are at times in this predicament, Which one to buy. It is great to have all this wonderful technology and options. In my vast research in 3d printing, I learned so much but feel I have only scratched the surface. Just recently introduced to 3d printing this year
Allot of the FAQ have been answered in my research but I am hopeful someone can offer advise. I have made a final choice and I have selected the Thing-O-Matic, I should order by June 15

Questions?
What you know now if you knew then? When you got your first 3d printer.
Lessons Learned?
Is there a max polygons for the Thing-O-Matic ?
I only read when people have problems what is the percentage of you who have had no big issues? Or should I expect a large learning curve?
Would makerbot offer a weekend build class? I would travel from Texas to New York. Pack it up and get on the greyhound back to Texas,
Expectations:
Print (4) 100x100x100 “For conversation” and glue together to make a large object, To be lightly and glued together then painted.
Also print a 100x100x100 volume everyday for a semester.
Concerns:
Set up, I am not into hacking, but I can appreciate it. Set it and forget it
Any advise is appreciated.
