TOM Thermocouple Issues: MK6+
I am assembling a MakerBot TOM and having problems with the Current Temperature on both the extruder and the ABP. Regardless of the target or ambient temperature, both read 0 degrees even though they are obviously heating. The EC and motherboard are both new after a Toolhead not found problem, which was ultimately resolved by downgrading to ReplicatorG 024. I wrapped the thermocouple during installation with a couple of wraps of Kapton tape and have double checked that the polarity is correct. I have also checked for a short between the thermocouple and the heater body.The resistance on the thermocouple reads 2.5 ohms.
What else do I need to be looking for?
