I just build 2 TOM's, after the first one was done it would squish the first 6 or so layers, then print correctly after that, I checked the GCode to make sure it was putting the correct z height's in there, messed with Skeinforge settings, made sure there wasn't any binding in the z Axis, and eventually replaced the Z motor. After replacing the Z Motor everything worked great. So then I build TOM #2 and I used my backup Z motor, (Not Moons) to finish the build. Now that I have #2 printing it's doing the exact same thing. I thought my problem was the Z motor, but I think it's kind of weird that motors 2 in a row from different companies would be bad. Plus, I've built 6 TOM's so far, so I've checked voltages and everything else I can think of.
Any Ideas?
