I search the world over and think I find true love, but many of the comparable steppers that I find are in the 40ish mm length range. Measuring my x stage, it seems like the y-axis stepper might need to fit within a 35ish mm height restriction so as to not hang out the bottom of the x stage and rub on something unfortunate.
I figure there's some clearance below the x stage, but I don't know how much.
Short of me assembling the rest of the thing and measuring, can anyone speak to a) where to get 34ish mm compatible steppers, b) what length restriction the stepper that rides inside of the x stage _really_ has, and/or c) if either of the other axis steppers have length constraints. (It looks to me like the answer to c is "no, because they hide in the mostly empty space above and below the build area and don't move.")
