Problems with my MakerBot / ReplicatorG
I haven't used my MakerBot in about a year (no excuses just the case).
I had to move to another computer, but still using Microsoft XP - SP3.
Downloaded, unzipped, and installed ReplicatorG-0029
Python 2.6.6 and Driver 2.8.14.0 FTDI
My MakerBot shipped in July 2010
The motherboard is stenciled make.rrrf.org/rmb-1.2.
The extruder board is make.rrrf.org/ec-2.2, which I believe is a MK4 Gen3.
I updated the firmware for both the motherboard and the extruder using ReplicatorG-0029.
Information as reported by ReplicatorG in the Console Window:
Loading driver: replicatorg.drivers.gen3.Sanguino3GDriver
Connecting to machine using serial port: COM5
Motherboard firmware v3.0
Toolhead 0: Extruder controller firmware v3.0 (Extruder)
Here is my problem. As I recall from using ReplicatorG-0018, the Control Panel Button allowed me to manually control the X,Y, and Z movements via another screen/window. Although the Control Panel Button is clickable in 0029, there does not seem to be any pop-ups, etc.;
although the following information is displayed in the Console Window:
Packet response code: OK
Packet payload: 0
Any suggestions, am I overlooking a setting, etc?
Thanks,
DK
