Is there a way to make sure that the temperature sensors (thermistors) in the MK6 nozzle and heated build platform show accurate temps?
I tried measuring the temperature on the surface of the platform but that didn't come close to the 110C. Same on the nozzle. But then using the temp sensor in my digital multimeter may not be the right tool for that. I realize it's probably hotter where the sensor is but how accurate are those?
Next: On the MK6 we have a thermostat. I know what a thermostat is, but what does this one actually do? Meltdown protection? I suppose it also changes resistance as the temperature changes? If that is the case, can I add some extension wires to reach the Safety Cutoff board or will that change the resistance too much?
Thanks
Peter
