My makerbot was working great, and then unexpectedly the platform temp reading started misbehaving - saying it's 99 (+/- a few degrees) all the time, no matter if it's hot or cold to the touch. I've checked the wiring and I don't have things reversed (it would likely read 225, not 99 if I had things reversed anyway). And I hadn't changed anything to cause it to go from working to not working. So I'm stumped.
Any ideas would be helpful.
It's frustrating because builds never commence because the platform stays at 99-103 degrees and never gets to 110 (the build temp set up in settings). I can bypass this by commenting out the line in the Gcode that waits for things to get to temp (I manually warm the bot instead) but this is a hassle! And not being able to reach 110 is frustrating as well because I've had problems with warping even with the platform at 100.
