I just finished building my Tom with stepstruder mk7 and ABP. I printed the 2cm cube and all seemed fine, then I printed the penny bottle opener. I got a "you're going too fast error" in ReplicatorG" but ignored it and printed anyway. The print semed to work, but the opener broke when I first used it. The portion below the penny delaminated from the sides. There was also a split in an area with no particular stress in it.
(I have images, but am not allowed to link to them - how do I get over that, btw)
Could my temperature be set too low? At room temperature, which is probably 19c, I get a reading of 23c. How critical is the temperature setting and is there a way to calibrate it at around the operating range?
I was thinking of changing some of the other settings to beef it up with more plastic, but it seems to me it should work as is with default settings.
If I do want to change settings, how do the profile settings available in the detailed skeinforge pages interact with the print-o-matic settings? Which takes precedence?
