well im running Generation 4 electronics with an mk6+ on a Cupcake. The temperature slowly goes up then it gets to a point where it stops going (about 140). I have a different powersupply from the original one.. perhaps there is not enough power or maybe it could be the small IC on the extruder which is fried….
Way too vague of a question. One area it could be is your constuction of the safety relay board and placement of the black 2 wire thermal switch.

Is the lights on the safety board tripping?
Did you follow the directions during testing of the safety board?
well now that I moved my light away
I see that both the green and the red LED's are lit but the red is dim. (I have Rev D)
I Made a new Cut off board but whenever i plug the 12V into the cutoff board, the led always turns red.
I tried updating the extruder's firmware and it succeeded. I tried heating up the extuder but the whole EC shuts down once the temp hits about 90ÂșC.
