I just got done assembling my mk6+ and totally forgot to check the size of the thread on my mk6+ nozzle. I also didn't check the hot end block that the nozzle screws into.
I already have machined the parts to build a mk7 from scratch, and lasered out the mounting plate. But I would like to make a hybrid mk6 using the mounting system of the mk7, and then using the Minimalistic Mk7 filament drive from thingiverse. I am going to modify the design a bit.
The end result will be a mk7 type mount but will be able to run the 3mm filament that I have collected over the last year of makerboting.
Does anyone have the specifications of the thread pitch and size? Even if someone has a spare nozzle they could measure from their mk6 and tell me what diameter it is in millimeters.
Thanks
Adam
