Optional Tripod
I have added threaded inserts onto the Cyclops so that it is able to fit any standard camera mount. The camera tripod is completely unnecessary, however; it is very nice to be able to quickly adjust the height of the Cyclops so that you can take 3D scans of a wide variety of shapes and objects in different locations.
Try to get one that is extendable so that you can reach someone’s face if you want to scan people.
Type "tripod neewer" into Amazon, and you should find extendable tripods for around $10. (this is the one that I have, it is not amazing - but super cheap)
